Beer glass
Beer glass
Beer is now the most widely consumed alcohol in the world, ranking third after water and tea. To enjoy all the flavors of this ancestral beverage, there's nothing better than a glass shape and size. At Duralex®you'll find a wide choice of beer glasses that will sublimate the famous fermented beverage made from malt and hops.
Why enjoy beer in a glass?
Whether white, blonde, brown or amber, beer is characterized by its spicy, fruity and sometimes caramelized flavors. To take full advantage of all these aromas, it's vital to pour your beer into the right glass, to let the different flavors diffuse freely. On the other hand, beer glasses give your senses a chance to take part in the tasting: smell, of course, because the olfactory sense is closely linked to our appreciation of taste, but also sight, because the appearance, texture and effervescence of the beverage are all indicators of the different types of beer.

Finally, drinking beer from a glass allows some of the product to be degassed, thus facilitating digestion: in fact, when the beer is poured, some of the carbon dioxide escapes and is transformed into white foam, thus limiting the effects of bloating.
Size of beer glass
Every country has its own beer. Some, however, stand out for their very large global production, such as Germany and Belgium. Depending on the brand, some beers are sold in one-liter bottles for sharing with family and friends, while others are smaller and available in individual containers.
At Duralex®you'll find up to 6 different glass sizes to suit every taste: 25 cl, 31 cl, 33 cl, 36 cl, 50 cl and even 56 cl. By equipping yourself with sets of different sizes, you can give your guests the choice of how much beer they want to drink at aperitif or dinner time.
What shape of beer glass?
Duralex® models are all straight glasses, the most common shape of beer glass. Directly from Ireland, this inverted cone-shaped glass favors fizz, makes it easy to hold, and allows the beverage to be properly degassed while producing a nice head. Although suitable for all types of beer, straight glasses are particularly well known for showcasing Pale Ale and amber beers.
In the 50 cl format, historically known as the pint glass, you'll find the Prismewith their elegant, contemporary design, and Le Picardie® models, both sold in packs of 6.
